Summer is the perfect time to enjoy a refreshing smoothie. The Azure Villas Blog is sharing a few smoothie recipes that you need to try. Break out your blender and make one of these delicious smoothies in the comfort of your apartment!
This sweet and creamy smoothie is naturally sweet and low in sugar. Combine 1 cup frozen peaches, 1 cup coconut milk, ½ cup water, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a handful of ice. Add a scoop of protein powder if you’d like.
Get your fruit servings, protein, and satisfying taste of the tropics all in this smoothie. It’s also dairy-, soy-, and gluten-free. Plus, it’s vegan and it contains no added sugar. Make it by blending 11.2 oz coconut water, ½ fresh pineapple (peeled, cored, and cubed), 2 peeled oranges, ¾ cup frozen mango, 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, 2 tablespoons flax seed, and 1 tablespoon maca.
Don’t be put off by its color; this smoothie actually tastes great! This smoothie combines the sweetness of vanilla with the tanginess of lime, creating something similar to a creamsicle but without any of the guilt. Combine ½ cup vanilla yogurt, 1 cup packed spinach leaves, 2 teaspoons honey, ½ frozen banana, 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract, ½ cup milk, and ½ to 1 cup ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
This smoothie recipe comes from Damn Delicious. It’s perfect for one of those slow mornings. Drink this to wake up and get started on the right foot. First, blend 1 ½ cups of frozen raspberries and ⅔ cup milk and set aside. Then, blend 1 ½ cups of frozen pineapple chunks and ⅔ cup orange juice. Pour raspberry mixture into a glass, topped with the mango mixture. Refreshing and not to mention beautiful!
